Azzedine Ounahi, transferred to the Greek Panathinaikos

Girona FC and Panathinaikos have reached an agreement for the transfer of Azzedine Ounahi, marking the end of his time as a red-and-white player.

The Moroccan midfielder joined Girona FC in the summer of 2025 from Olympique de Marseille. During his time at the Club, Ounahi played 24 official matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.

A full international with Morocco, with whom he participated in the last World Cup, Ounahi has spent much of his career in European football. Before joining Girona FC, the player represented Olympique de Marseille, RC Strasbourg, US Avranches, and Angers SCO, as well as Panathinaikos, where he already played on loan during the 2024-2025 season.
