There’s still a season to finish, a Champions League to try to secure, but the summer transfer window is approaching.
Roma must comply with Financial Fair Play regulations by June 31st, and a high-profile transfer may be necessary.
The club will also need to work on those players currently on loan at other clubs. One of these is Tommaso Baldanzi.
The midfielder moved to Genoa on loan in January with an option to buy set at €10 million. Lorenzo Venturino followed the opposite path.
According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Ligurian club would like to keep Baldanzi at Genoa next season.
This decision would also be in line with the player’s wishes, as he is happy to remain at the “Grifone.”
The two clubs will need to reach an agreement in the coming weeks. In recent months at Genoa, under Daniele De Rossi, the 2003-born player has provided one assist in six appearances.
