Tommaso Baldanzi discussed his career in an interview with Radio Serie A.
“I feel very good, that I’m growing, I’m improving my performances a lot. I can do more on goals and assists, but I really like playing with the team, for now I feel happy with the path and the progress of the team.”
“When I arrived I didn’t find many difficulties, I got along very well with the group and the coaches. The first few months were about settling in, it wasn’t very easy but it was quick.”
“Ranieri? He managed to touch the right chords in me and in all the players, in the whole environment. He was very strong on this, now we are happy to have reversed the trend and we want to continue like this.”
“De Rossi? He gave me so much. He wanted me here and gave me the honor of playing in such a prestigious team. He was very important for my growth, especially in the role I played recently, a bit more of a mezzala, he liked me a lot there even when I didn’t believe in it.”
“Dybala? With him and other champions in the team you learn every day just by watching. I have a great relationship, he is a great person, humble, with them you grow and learn easily.”
“I’m working a lot on the defensive phase, we are many left-handed but we can play together without problems. With so many strong players in that role you have to adapt to doing something else, even if you like it less. But we can play together.”
“I started in Castelfiorentino in my hometown team, my grandfather passed on to me the love for this sport that he was madly in love with. He accompanied me and today being in a historic club like Roma is a source of great pride for me.”
“Our objectives? It’s right not to set limits, we don’t have a clear objective given our start, but also given the position we have to win as many games as possible. And thinking one game at a time we can get great satisfaction.”
