Join us for the Ballon d’Or Ceremony taking place in Paris today as Gigio Donnarumma, Scott McTominay, Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez feature in the top 30 nominees for the coveted award.

The ceremony begins at 20:00 CET (19:00 BST) today, Monday, September 22, 2025 and can be watched live on TNT, discovery+ (UK), Paramount+ (US), as well as L’Équipe’s YouTube channel.

Gigio Donnarumma is the only Italian player shortlisted among the 30 best players of 2025, but Serie A stars McTominay, Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez are also part of the group, and the same is true of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who spent the first part of the previous campaign at Napoli.

Donnarumma is also one of the candidates for the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper of the year.

Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz is among the nominees for the Best Young Player of the Year, the Men’s Kopa Trophy 2025.

Sofia Cantore and Cristiana Girelli are Italy’s representatives for the Women’s Ballon d’Or.
