Balogun left out by Monaco, Igamane not ready as French clubs file UEFA lists | OneFootball

Folarin Balogun has been left out of Monaco’s Europa Conference League squad, while Lille did not register Hamza Igamane. According to L'Équipe, there were few other major omissions as French clubs confirmed their squads for the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League.

With resources tighter than elsewhere, most Ligue 1 sides, PSG aside, named near full-strength groups. Clubs can still make changes in the winter break.

PSG registered a complete Champions League squad, with all senior names and summer signings included, and Arthur Vignaud plus David Boly on list B.

Lens left out Maik Nawrocki after an ACL rupture in early September, while Ilan Jourdren, Jhoanner Chavez, Alpha Diallo, Moussa Diarra and Mezian Mesloub also miss out.

Boulaye Dia is included by Rennes, and Ouest-France reports that Mahamadou Nagida will be on list B as club-trained and born after 1 January 2005, while Alidu Seidu and Djaoui Cissé are eligible.

Monaco did not register Balogun as he could still depart after an aborted Everton move. Thiago Scuro said on Wednesday that exits remain possible to markets still open, including Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Russia, and Pape Cabral plus Christian Mawissa are on list B.
