According to Spanish outlets, the decision would be mainly driven by issues of authority in the dressing room and mounting frustration over the behavior of certain players. During a public event on Wednesday, Joan Laporta was asked to address the speculation.
The president of the reigning Spanish champions was quick to dismiss the idea of the German coach leaving. "Hansi Flick feels very comfortable here and he’s looking forward to returning to our stadium, which will have a capacity of 105,000 spectators," he explained.
