Barcelona have agreed a deal to sell right-back Julian Araujo to Premier League side Bournemouth, reports have revealed.
The 22-year-old, who joined Barca from LA Galaxy in February 2023, spent last season on loan with Las Palmas, making 28 appearances across a season which was plagued by injury and suspension issues.
SPORT state that Araujo had hoped to force his way into Hansi Flick's thinking this summer but, after seeing his pre-season opportunities limited, has agreed to continue his career in the Premier League with Bournemouth.
Araujo will head to England on Sunday for a medical ahead of signing a five-year contract if all goes to plan.
Barca are hoping to close the deal, which The Athletic value at €10m (£8.4m), in the coming days to allow them to complete more registrations.

Araujo is not the only defender whose future at Barca is uncertain. Fabrizio Romano revealed that 20-year-old centre-back Mikayil Faye is the subject of interest from Rennes, who have lodged a €10m bid of their own.
Barca are open to parting ways with Faye, who is yet to play for the senior side, but are keen to secure a buy-back clause in any agreement. As of yet, Rennes have only offered a significant sell-on clause.
Meanwhile, another centre-back, Eric Garcia, has confirmed he will remain with Barca next season after returning from his loan with Girona.
He told RAC1 (via SPORT) that he will "100%" remain with Barca this coming year after receiving assurances from Flick.
