Kennet Eichhorn, a 16-year-old German midfielder from Hertha BSC, has emerged as one of the most coveted young talents in Europe.
After signing his first professional contract last summer and earning promotion to Hertha’s first team, the teenage midfielder has already made nine senior appearances, quickly drawing attention from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.
Now, according to BILD (h/t Mundo Deportivo), FC Barcelona are among several European heavyweights closely following Eichhorn at Hertha.
Indeed, scouts from Barcelona, as well as their arch-rivals Real Madrid, along with those from PSG, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal, have been regular visitors to the Olympiastadion to follow his progress.
Meanwhile, top clubs from within Germany, such as Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Eintracht Frankfurt, are also keeping tabs on the 16-year-old.

As per the report, Hertha would consider selling if an offer of at least €20 million arrives for their academy talent.
Eichhorn, a Germany U17 international, made history by debuting for Hertha in the second matchday of the 2. Bundesliga, becoming the youngest debutant in the league’s history.
Since then, he has established himself as a regular starter, usually playing as a defensive midfielder, with his maturity, positioning, and ball distribution impressing onlookers.
The 16-year-old pivot is seen as one of the most standout prospects coming through German football.
However, while Barcelona are following him, they would likely wait to see him consolidate his development at the senior level before making a move.
After all, there is no shortage of young talent in his position in La Masia, with Marc Bernal already a part of the senior team and Tommy Marques knocking on the doors.
