Last week saw FC Barcelona midfielder Gavi make his return to group training after five months out due to knee surgery.
The 21-year-old homegrown star suffered a knee injury in late August and had to undergo arthroscopy in September after initial conservative treatment did not yield the desired result.
Having worked hard on his recovery since then, the Spanish international finally resumed training with the rest of the group last week in what came as a huge development for Barcelona.
Now, according to SPORT, Gavi continues to complete most of the sessions with his teammates since returning, and his progress has been very encouraging.

However, the coaching staff are taking a cautious approach with his reintegration, considering the long spell he spent on the sidelines.
Barça were very careful with Marc Bernal earlier in the season after he made his comeback from an ACL injury, ensuring that there are no setbacks or relapses.
A similar approach is expected to be followed with Gavi, especially considering that he had also suffered a serious knee injury in the past before his latest issue.
As already reported, there is no hurry from the staff, and the midfielder is expected to be given a full medical clearance in 2-3 weeks.
But, as mentioned previously, the progress that Gavi has shown in the days since he resumed training with the group has been positive and encouraging.
