Hansi Flick urges patience as Gavi returns to Barcelona training

Gavi has returned to Barcelona training after six months out, and Hansi Flick says his comeback will be managed carefully.

As reported by L'Équipe, the 21-year-old took part in a full group session on Friday, his first since late August.

After a flying start for Barcelona and Spain, his progress has been checked by injuries. He came back from a cruciate ligament rupture at the start of last season, then suffered another serious setback at the very beginning of this season.

Flick said: "It is an important step for him to train with the group, it is positive. I hope he will be back soon, but we have to go step by step."

He will not feature against Levante on Sunday.
