Barcelona have completed the signing of Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic from Fenerbahce, adding depth in goal. The 31-year-old joins on a four-year deal running to 2030 after the club confirmed his arrival.

According to Goal.com, Barcelona will pay an initial two million euros with a further two million in potential add-ons.

Talks accelerated over the past week, diverging from the original plan to sign Livakovic then loan him out for 2026-27. He flew into Catalonia earlier this week, passed his medical and finalised the paperwork after an outstanding 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Livakovic is expected to start as understudy to Joan Garcia, with Wojciech Szczesny likely to be third choice in his final year. Head coach Flick now has three senior options for a gruelling domestic and European schedule.

On arrival he dined at Botafumeiro with president Joan Laporta and vice-president Rafa Yuste, alongside agent Andy Bara, before the signing ceremony with Deco and Bojan Krkic. Flick will look to integrate him quickly so he is ready for upcoming La Liga fixtures.
