Now, Cubarsi is set to take another big step in his career by moving out of La Masia and chasing a key education degree.

Cubarsi eyeing a business administration degree

According to Diario SPORT, the Barcelona defender revealed during an interview with Esports 3 that he is preparing to begin a university degree in Business Administration and Management this September.

“We’ll try to go for Business Administration and Management,” he said, noting that, like all other students, he’ll have to wait for official confirmation of admission.

In the same interview, conducted during Barça’s preseason tour of South Korea, Cubarsí also spoke about his decision to leave La Masia and start living independently.

“I could’ve stayed another year at La Masia, but I’m trying to start separating myself a bit, to be calmer, more on my own. I’ll be moving out with my sister, in Barcelona, to stay close to the family,” he explained.

The move represents a key change in Cubarsi’s personal and professional career as he looks to adopt a more individual lifestyle.

Cubarsi also addressed the internal competition at Barça, especially with Ronald Araujo now returning to full fitness.

“No one at Barça can consider themselves an undisputed starter—you have to earn it every day,” he said, reaffirming his determination to keep working hard for his place in the starting eleven.
