Barcelona eyeing Cardoso Varela signing | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are again expressing an interest in the signing of Dinamo Zagreb talent Cardoso Varela.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Varela’s name is one which will be familiar to some of a Barcelona persuasion, after the 16-year-old was previously tipped for a potential move to Catalunya’s capital during his time on the books of Porto.

And Deco and co, it would appear, have not lost track of Varela’s development…

Now plying his trade with the aforementioned Dinamo Zagreb after a controversial exit from Porto, the attacker is again turning heads with his impressive combination of pace, dribbling abilities and final ball.

Barcelona, in turn, have been tipped to launch an assault on Varela’s signature, with MD adding that:

‘In recent days, national media outlets such as Croatia Footy have taken the young winger’s signing (for Barcelona) for granted in exchange for his €5 million buyout clause.’

And though such claims have since been denied elsewhere, the Blaugrana’s interest in Varela remains strong.
