An insight into the plans of new Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for his squad over the course of the week ahead has today been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards an intense workload as being in store for Barcelona’s stars to have reported for pre-season training.
This comes amid attempts on Flick’s part to ramp up fitness levels across his squad.
As per MD’s information, the Blaugrana’s players will train on each of the next five days, before finally being afforded a rest on Sunday.
Not only that, but on Wednesday and Friday, Flick’s troops will be put through sessions in both the morning and evening, at 9am, and 6pm.
To date, the following group of players have been at the disposal of the German tactician:
Iñaki Peña, Iñigo Martínez, Vitor Roque, Oriol Romeu, Julián Araujo, Alejandro Balde and Gavi from the first-team, and Mika Faye, Héctor Fort, Ander Astralaga, Gerard Martín, Marc Bernal, Unai Hernández, Ángel Alarcón, Noah Darvich, Trilli, Sergi Domínguez and Quim Junyent from the youth setup.
The more high-profile members of Barca’s ranks, meanwhile, will be expected to report back to the club’s training base over the coming weeks.
