The departure of Inigo Martinez in the last summer transfer window has left FC Barcelona without one of their most influential defensive leaders and the only left-footed center-back they had in their squad.
As a result, the Blaugranes have been linked with other center-backs from the market ever since the end of the last transfer window.
In this regard, a report from Sport (h/t MARCA) claims that one of the players that the Catalans are interested in is young French center-back Tylel Tati, who is impressing with FC Nantes at a very young age of 17 years.
The youngster is already impressing the crowds and scouts with his strength, maturity, and composure, and has also shown great ability with starting attacks from the back and winning aerial duels.
However, the fact that he is left-footed, a center-back profile quite rare in the market, makes him an even highly intriguing option for FC Barcelona.
The Blaugrana Sporting Department has gathered some very positive reports on him, and he can be brought for an affordable sum of €3 million, even though his current market value lies around €6 million and is on the ascent.
Hansi Flick is also keen on having the youngster on his team, and Barcelona are currently the most advanced club in his pursuit. However, it remains to be seen how the future of Tylel Tati will pan out, as clubs from England and Germany have also made inquiries about him.
