FC Barcelona have confirmed that the jerseys worn during their Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain tonight will be put up for auction as part of the Blaugrana Bracelets initiative.

The project is a joint effort between the Barça Foundation and the Xana Foundation, aimed at supporting children battling serious illnesses.

The shirts, worn by Barcelona players on the European stage, will carry a value beyond football.

The proceeds will go directly into programmes designed to humanise hospital stays for young patients who face long-term treatment.

A significant portion of the money raised will also be donated to the Xana Foundation, an organisation created by Luis Enrique in memory of his late daughter Xana.

The foundation’s work focuses on providing medical, social, and emotional support for children with serious health conditions and their families.

Meet and greet experience on the horizon

This initiative is not just about fundraising. As part of the collaboration, one special experience will soon take place.

A child suffering from a serious illness will get the chance to meet Barcelona first-team players in person.

It is expected to be an emotional moment that underlines the deeper purpose behind the Blaugrana Bracelets program.

Interestingly, PSG will also take part in the cause. The French champions will feature the Xana Foundation’s logo on their shirts and auction off their own match-worn kits, with the proceeds also directed towards the charity.

The auction for Barcelona’s jerseys will be launched in the coming days through a specialised online platform, with full details to be revealed on the club’s official channels.

Fans from across the world will have the chance to own a unique piece of Barça history while contributing to a cause that extends far beyond football.
