Barcelona keep tabs on FC Porto's young prospect

Salvador Garcia, a 16-year-old centre-back developed at FC Porto, has taken on a prominent role across the dragons’ various youth teams. The youngster’s performances have attracted the interest of Barcelona, which, with an agreement between the two clubs, invited him to travel to Catalonia for trials. The player will be assessed until 31 August, and the possibility of a transfer in the future has not been ruled out.

Known in football as Salva, the youngster began his journey at Lourinhanense, his hometown club, before joining FC Porto’s academy in 2022/23.
