Barcelona on alert? Julián Alvarez considers agent change | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid star Julián Alvarez is giving consideration to a change of representation with a view to the transfer markets ahead. That’s according to journalist Gonzalo Palafox, who has this week provided an insight into the situation.

Frontman Alvarez was for his part of course at the heart of one of the most high-profile transfer sagas of the summer in Spain.

Amid intense interest in his signature on the part of La Liga rivals Barcelona, the Argentine made public his desire to move on in search of a new challenge.

The brass at the Metropolitano, however, had other ideas, making clear to Alvarez throughout the window that they had no intention of sanctioning his exit.

But as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media this week is anything to go by, then the saga may not have come to a definitive close just yet…

As per a report from the aforementioned Gonzalo Palafox of Onda Cero:

‘Julián Álvarez is considering for the first time leaving his agent Fernando Hidalgo after everything that happened this summer. There have already been contacts with the agency of Javier Pastore (The Elegant Game) which represents players like Enzo Fernández.’
