Barcelona are on a roll in the transfer market this summer, having already reached an agreement with Newcastle United to sign English top talent Anthony Gordon.

The skilful winger has passed his Barcelona medical. But the club are far from done and are actively working on making a few more moves in the market.

According to Gianluigi Longari, Barcelona are already on the cusp of making their second big move in the transfer market this summer.

The journalist suggests the Catalans are only a ‘step away’ from signing Bernardo Silva this summer.

This comes on the back of Barça Universal’s exclusive report earlier in the day, which revealed that the Silva deal is 90% done.

Hansi Flick, in fact, has already given his approval to sign the Portuguese international, who is available as a free agent after running down his contract at Manchester City.

Securing the services of Bernardo Silva will go a long way in further solidifying Barcelona’s creative department, especially with Gordon also set to join the club.

With two creative players already joining, Barcelona are now expected to make a move for a new striker, with Julian Alvarez firmly in their sights.

Barcelona have already agreed personal terms with the Argentine international. But an agreement with Atletico Madrid appears to be the biggest challenge.

Alvarez, for his part, is ready to join the Blaugrana. But it remains to be seen whether Barcelona are able to strike a deal with Los Rojiblancos.
