It appears like FC Barcelona are moving swiftly in their pursuit of Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.
Indeed, according to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the La Liga champions have reached an agreement over personal terms with the 31-year-old shot-stopper.
Talks with his club, Fenerbahce, are now underway as the Blaugrana aim to agree terms over a transfer at the earliest.
Barcelona came into the summer with the idea of recruiting a new goalkeeper, someone who was experienced at the highest level, who can provide cover and competition to first-choice starter Joan Garcia.
That idea led to interest in Real Sociedad shot-stopper Alex Remiro, but nothing came of it.

However, having been impressed with Livakovic’s performances at the World Cup with Croatia, the La Liga champions have moved swiftly to sign him.
The plan is for the 31-year-old Croatian shot-stopper to take over Wojciech Szczesny as the club’s second-choice goalkeeper next season, when the Polish veteran’s contract expires.
With an agreement now reached between the player and the club, the operation seems to be moving ahead with an express pace.
Barcelona are now understood to be in talks with Fenerbahce over the signing of Livakovic.
As reported previously, the negotiations are in an advanced stage, thanks to the presence of agent Andy Bara, who represents the 31-year-old goalkeeper and has a strong relationship with Barça.

The deal could be closed for a fee of around €3 million in addition to several performance-related variables.
The plan is for Livakovic to sign for Barcelona and then be loaned out, possibly to Dinamo Zagreb, where he spent the second half of the previous season on loan from Fenerbahce, or a different club.
The Croatian international would play the remainder of the current campaign at his loan club before returning to the Catalan capital in 2027, when he can take over from Szczesny following the expiry of the veteran Pole’s contract.
However, it is not entirely ruled out that Barça keep him as part of Hansi Flick’s squad for the current season itself.
