Barcelona respond to Victor Osimhen transfer opportunity | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have been offered the chance to bring in Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen for next season.

The Blaugrana, however, remain fully focused on alternative targets.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that the Camp Nou brass are on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-forward this summer.

Following the departure of veteran hitman Robert Lewandowski, Deco and co. have been tasked with bringing in a player capable of filling the sizable boots of the Pole.

With as much in mind, amid a search for a new club for their client, the entourage of Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen have contacted Barca to offer up the former Napoli man’s services.

As per a report from Diario Sport, however, the Catalans have no intention of taking up the offer:

‘Despite the enormous level of the Nigerian international, Barça do not contemplate his incorporation as a priority option to strengthen the attack.’

Instead, the focus of Deco and his team remains fully on bringing in Julián Alvarez.
