Hansi Flick has reportedly requested FC Barcelona to strengthen the squad with three new signings in the summer of 2026 – a striker, a centre-back, and a winger.
While the possibility of signing Marcus Rashford permanently remains, a decision will be made at the end of the season, based on how he performs for the rest of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Barcelona will continue to monitor the market for targets, with the Bundesliga seemingly emerging as an attractive market for the Catalans.
Indeed, after having shown an interest in Yan Diomande and Assan Ouedraogo of RB Leipzig, it appears that Barça have taken a liking to another player from the Bundesliga outfit.
According to Alfredo Martinez of SPORT, Barcelona scouted RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa during the recent international break, when he was in action for Norway.
A meeting of agents, intermediaries and sporting directors from European clubs was held in Milan during the international window earlier this month.

Joao Amaral, Barcelona’s new head of scouting and Deco’s assistant, was present at the meeting and used the trip to Italy to watch Nusa in action.
The 20-year-old RB Leipzig star played for the Norwegian national team in their crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier match against Italy.
Nusa was on target as Norway secured a comeback 4-1 victory to secure their spot in the World Cup, returning to the showpiece event after more than three decades.
While there were a number of impressive players on display, including Barça’s impossible dream – Erling Haaland, Amaral was particularly monitoring Nusa’s performance.
The 20-year-old winger has been linked with the La Liga champions in the past as well, and will not come cheap, given that he is tied down to a contract with RB Leipzig until 2029.
Only time will tell whether the early interest in Nusa translates into something major come summer.
