Barcelona are reportedly ready to send scouts to the Under-17 World Cup in Brazil to watch one of Argentina’s rising stars.
The bi-annual youth tournaments begins this week with Argentina set to take on Spain in their opening game.
And according to Marca, the Blaugrana are going to send some of their representatives to take a look at Matias Palacios.
Pablo Aimar, who is in charge of the Albiceleste youngsters, has already claimed that Palacios is one of the best teenagers around and has predicted a bright future for the midfielder.
Club side San Lorenzo are supposedly aware of Barça’s interest but right now unwilling to let their most prized asset leave for Europe.
Several sides in Italy are also thought to be following Palacios’ progress.
