Barcelona star ‘completely ruled out’ vs Girona after missing training again | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona will be forced to make do without the contributions of a leading member of their attacking ranks for the club’s next outing.

The player in question? Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha has for his part of course been condemned to a spell on the sidelines since last month.

This comes owing to a hamstring injury suffered during a La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.

Initially, the hope was that the Brazilian would not be sidelined for long, ahead of marking his return to the pitch against Girona this weekend.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media on Tuesday is anything to go by, then this will not be the case.

Raphinha was for his part forced to sit out group training at the Ciutat Esportiva once more this morning.

As much comes wih the former Leeds United man’s recovery progressing much more slowly than expected.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Raphinha has yet to make it onto the pitch and his presence against Girona is completely ruled out.’

It is currently completely unclear just when the winger could mark his return to competitive duties in Barca colours.
