The coaching and backroom staff at La Liga giants Barcelona have become completely fed up with a member of the club’s midfield ranks.
That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Frenkie de Jong as the player in question.
The situation of Dutchman De Jong has of course long been a delicate one in Catalunya’s capital.
As much comes with the former Ajax man having to date refused to commit to the fresh terms on the table for him, ahead of the expiration of his current deal in the summer of 2026.
According to Relevo, this extension offer is now no longer valid, throwing De Jong’s future into serious doubt.
Not only that, but, despite having previously boasted the backing of head coach Hansi Flick, the 27-year-old ‘has exhausted the patience of his managers and coaches’ at Barcelona.
A cut-price exit for De Jong – who did not even feature off the bench against Atlético last night – next summer is therefore beginning to look like a near certainty.
