Barcelona star sits out training on international duty | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal played no part in group training with the Spanish national team on Tuesday morning.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, though, need not fret when it comes to the wellbeing of their side’s attacking sensation.

Wide-man Lamine was for his part in from the off once more this past weekend, as Barcelona played host to Rayo Vallecano amid their ongoing pursuit of the La Liga title.

En route to an eventual 1-0 triumph for Hansi Flick’s troops, the 18-year-old was hooked from proceedings late on.

News that Lamine was not present in training alongside the rest of Luis de la Fuente’s Spain squad this morning therefore came as a source of concern for Barca’s fans.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, however:

‘Lamine Yamal, Aymeric Laporte, and Marcos Llorente trained separately. Everything was normal, just managing their workload. The three players were on stationary bikes on the pitch while the rest of their teammates were out on the field.’
