Barcelona star’s transfer market value has dropped to €40 million | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has seen his value on the transfer market continue to tumble over recent months.

That’s according to market insiders transfermarkt, who point towards Gavi as the player in question.

Youngster Gavi is for his part of course in the thick of a fresh spell on the sidelines.

After seemingly putting his long-standing woes behind him following surgery for an ACL tear, the Spanish international suffered a setback early last month.

As much culminated in Gavi being forced under the knife once again, on this occasion to solve a meniscus issue.

He is expected to be sidelined for 4-5 months as a result.

And as alluded to above, these developments have been firmly reflected in the 21-year-old’s worth on the market.

As per a report from the aforementioned transfermarkt, after his value was once considered to be €90 million, a drop to €60 million has since been followed by another tumble as part of the updated La Liga listings, with Gavi now considered to be worth just €40 million.
