Barcelona summer signing nets 4 goals on reserve team debut | OneFootball

A member of the summer recruitment drive at La Liga giants Barcelona enjoyed a debut to remember in the club’s colours on Sunday evening.

This came as Barca Atlètic kicked their league campaign into gear in a meeting with CD Náxara.

When all was said and done in Catalunya’s capital, Juliano Belletti’s troops emerged dominant victors, to the tune of a 5-0 demolition.

And it was Ignasi Quer who proved himself the star of the show. Striker Quer was snapped up by Barcelona as a free agent this summer, following the expiration of his contract terms with CE L’Hospitalet.

On Sunday, the 22-year-old was in turn afforded his competitive bow, leading the line against the aforementioned Náxara.

And remarkably, Quer went on to net all but one of Barca Atlètic’s five goals amid a stellar individual display. The kind of production which could yet pique the attention of first-team boss Hansi Flick at the Ciutat Esportiva…
