The final games of La Liga are now left to be played out, and FC Barcelona have some huge aspirations to keep up with. For the Catalan giants, there is now a huge desire to see out the rest of the campaign in as strong a fashion as possible. As of right now, moreover, Barcelona sit at the top of the league table.

Only by remaining undefeated throughout 2025 so far have La Blaugrana managed this feat. It was a near impossible task, but the Catalan side continues to impress through their resilience and sheer determination. Fortunately for Barcelona, they will also have the advantage of counting on their own fans for most of the last few games now.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, seven of the last eleven games that Barcelona now have to play in La Liga will take place at the Montjuic Stadium. This means that Hansi Flick’s side will be able to count on their own home supporters for a majority of the last few games in this league campaign.

The reason behind this situation is that the club had originally asked to play as many away games as possible during the opening stages of the campaign. Originally done to better enable them return to the new Camp Nou by this point of the season, it now seems that construction delays will make a return to their primary stadium quite unlikely this season.

However, that does not change the fact that Barcelona will still get to enjoy the backing of their home fans for some crucial games up ahead. The first of these final games at the Montjuic Stadium will be the upcoming game against CA Osasuna, which is a must-win for the Catalan side.

Right after that, Michel’s Girona will be visiting Barcelona as well. They will be followed up by the likes of Real Betis, Celta Vigo, Mallorca, Real Madrid, and Villarreal. Considering the quality of their opponents and the impressive form of Barcelona, an advantage like this could end up tipping the scales in favor of the home side at any given point.

Moreover, there is a belief within the club that winning all these home fixtures will more or less guarantee Barcelona the league title. For that, the team will need to stay strong and focused no matter what, but getting to play a majority of those games at the Montjuic Stadium will undoubtedly be a welcome scenario.

So far this season, the temporary home stadium for Barcelona has been kind when it comes to La Liga. Out of the 12 games played there during this campaign, Barça have won nine games and have lost only three. Moreover, one of the losses against Atletico Madrid was a rather unfortunate result as well considering that the team only lost in the dying minutes of the outing.
