After a period lull, Barcelona are now once again making moves in the transfer market.

In recent days, everything has revolved around the signing of Karim Adeyemi, who is set to join the club on a €22 million deal from Borussia Dortmund.

However, Barcelona are also closing in on the capture of another talent in Jesse Bisiwu, with the club having reached full agreement to sign the Belgian top talent.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has offered a fresh update on Barcelona’s pursuit of Bisiwu, who currently plies his trade for Club Brugge’s youth team.

Romano suggests that Barcelona are finalising the agreement to sign Bisiwu and the announcement could be made in the coming hours or days.

The Catalans are set to sign the explosive winger in a deal worth €10 million, with Club Brugge holding a hefty 30% sell-on fee clause.

While most complex details around the agreement is already complete, Barcelona are only waiting for final details to resolve before they are able to announce the deal.

This comes at a time when the Blaugrana are also closing in on the capture of Adeyemi, another explosive winger.

Fabrizio Romano adds that Barcelona do not have any immediate plans with Jesse Bisiwu and the Belgian is more of a long-term investment by the club.

Therefore, Bisiwu will not directly get into the first team and become an option for Hansi Flick next season. It was reported earlier that Barcelona are looking to replicate a Roony Bardghji-type deal with Bisiwu.

That means the youngster will initially start out in the Barcelona reserve team, where he will have to prove his mettle and face fierce competition from many other talented La Masia kids.

If Bisiwu manages to impress in the reserve side, he could become an option for the first team down the line. But for now, the winger has to prove himself in the Barcelona youth team.
