Barcelona continue to attract interest in some of their brightest young talents, but one rising star has already made his intentions unmistakably clear despite growing attention from across Europe.

Midfielder Marc Bernal has become one of the most highly-rated youngsters at the club following his impressive return from a serious knee injury, with several top clubs monitoring his development over the past year.

However, the teenager has no interest in entertaining offers away from Camp Nou.

According to Mundo Deportivo, regardless of the interest arriving from the Premier League and elsewhere, Bernal’s priority has never changed, as he continues to stay committed to the club.

Bernal fully focused on Barcelona

Barcelona have viewed Bernal as one of the pillars of the club’s future for some time, and his performances last season only strengthened that belief.

After overcoming a long-term knee injury, the midfielder steadily rediscovered his best form and once again demonstrated why he is regarded as one of La Masia’s most exciting prospects.

Understandably, his progress has attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Premier League sides exploring the possibility of signing him, hoping to convince him to consider a move away from Catalonia.

Despite those approaches, Bernal has remained unwavering in his position.

The report states that the midfielder’s commitment to Barcelona has been absolute, with every enquiry receiving the same response: his future belongs at Barça.

Which teams are monitoring Bernal?

As reported by the outlet, Roma were among the earliest teams linked with the midfielder, while Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr also showed interest at one stage.

More recently, Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal all gathered information regarding his contractual situation during the current transfer window.

However, none of those enquiries developed into serious negotiations.

It must be remembered that Barcelona have protected one of their most valuable academy graduates with a contract running until 2029 and a massive €500 million release clause, making it abundantly clear that Bernal is considered untouchable.
