Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal shows support for Atlético star after Madrid Derby win | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has taken to social media, to send a message of support the way of Atlético Madrid defender Marc Pubill.

This comes after the defender played a starring role in his side’s derby day victory over Real Madrid on Sunday.

Pubill for his part featured from the off yesterday evening, as Atlético welcomed arch rivals Real to the Metropolitano for a La Liga clash. And en route to Diego Simeone’s troops holding the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. firmly at bay, the 23-year-old impressed once more.

Considered one of the standout young defenders in Spanish football at present, Pubill was also part of Luis de la Fuente’s La Roja squad which marched all the way to glory at this summer’s World Cup.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, the former Almería talent has received public support from one of his most high-profile international teammates.
