Burnley eased into the FA Cup fourth round with a commanding 5-1 win over Championship side Millwall at Turf Moor.

The Clarets, struggling in the Premier League and without a win in 12 games, made light work of the Lions.

Ashley Barnes opened the scoring after 11 minutes, finishing calmly from six yards following a square ball from Jacob Bruun Larsen. Loum Tchaouna doubled the lead in the 35th minute with a low strike from the edge of the box, and Anthony put the hosts 3-0 up just before half-time after Bruun Larsen’s second assist set him up.

Barnes added his second midway through the second half, tapping in from close range after a cross from Jaidon Anthony, before Dutch substitute Jaydon Banel netted his first Burnley goal in the 89th minute following another defensive error.

The visitors grabbed a late consolation through Josh Coburn in stoppage time, but the game had long been settled.
