Başakşehir host Fatih Karagümrük in the Süper Lig on 17 January 2026 at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu, with the hosts pushing to consolidate a top-half place and the visitors fighting to climb out of the relegation zone.
Başakşehir sit 7th on 23 points, Karagümrük are 18th with nine. The hosts also won the reverse fixture 2-0 in September.
Nuri Sahin's side are unbeaten in their past three league matches, with wins at Samsunspor and against Gaziantep either side of a draw with Fenerbahçe. Aleksandar Stanojevic's team are winless in five league games, losing at Gençlerbirliği and Alanyaspor and drawing with Kocaelispor and Eyüpspor.
Yusuf Sari is injured for Başakşehir, Joao Camacho is out for Fatih Karagümrük.
The hosts average 1.6 goals per game, with 55% possession and 84.45% pass accuracy, and have kept six clean sheets. Eldor Shomurodov leads the league scoring on 12 goals, while Miguel Crespo has five assists. Karagümrük have scored 0.8 per game and conceded 32, with one clean sheet. David Datro Fofana has five league goals and Daniel Johnson three assists. The visitors have yet to score from a set piece this season, so open-play combinations may carry their threat. Başakşehir could again look to work chances inside the area, where 21 of their goals have come.
A win would take Başakşehir to 26 points and could strengthen their grip on the top half. Three points for Karagümrük would move them to 12 and trim the gap to safety in the relegation fight.
