Bayern chiefs Uli Hoeneß and Max Eberl are optimistic that Harry Kane will agree a contract extension with the club. According to BuLi News, both believe the outlook is positive.

“I’m quite optimistic that Harry will extend his contract with us, which would of course be a blessing for us,” said honorary president Uli Hoeneß. He told RTL/Sky.

“I know that Max Eberl and Jan Dreesen [Bayern board member for sport and CEO, respectively] have a very close relationship with the family. His father and brother are his agents, and they started initial talks some time ago. None of this is new to me. These discussions usually take a few weeks or a few months, but they are being conducted on a very good personal level.”

Kane, 33, has hinted talks could accelerate soon, and his current deal runs until summer 2027.

“I think he feels comfortable. We’re super happy that he’s with us,” said Eberl. He told Sky. “Now it’s about clarifying the details that are part of football. But I think the conditions aren’t too bad.”
