Speaking at the Bayern Munich annual general meeting on Sunday (via Sky Germany), club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has received the full payments for Robert Lewandowski.
The Poland international moved to Catalonia in 2022 for €45m, but Barcelona have been struggling with financial problems in recent years.
However, at the AGM, Dreesen said that the payments for Lewandowski have now been completed:
“Everything is paid,”
Elsewhere at the AGM, Dreesen announced that the club had recorded a record year for their revenue. The club increased their annual revenue by 2.8% up to €978.3m. Operating profit at the club has also risen, growing by 11.3% to €187.8m. Whilst Matchday revenue rose by 15% to €260.7m.
On top of this, Herbert Hainer was re-elected as the club president for the third term in a row with 98.1% of the vote. Hainer was first elected in 2019 to replace Uli Hoeneß.
