The approach has enabled renovations at Säbener Straße and the purchase of Unterhaching Sportpark for the women's team.

There is also a planned basketball performance centre at the FC Bayern Campus, which youth footballers will also use. The club will bear the costs of this project.

All three are investments that will bring additional revenues in the long run.

Club president Herbert Hainer said Bayern are financially very sound, have money in a fixed deposit account, and that everything the club owns has already been paid for.
