Bayern Munich have identified two budget options for the summer window, Hoffenheim forward Fisnik Asllani and Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read, according to Sport Bild.
Sport Bild says Bayern remain interested in Asllani despite a recent Sky Germany report suggesting otherwise. The 23-year-old has eight goals and seven assists for Hoffenheim this season, has a release clause below €30 million, and could be cover for Harry Kane.
Read, a right-back at Feyenoord, has been on Bayern’s radar for some time, with the club continuing to monitor his situation.
Honorary president Uli Hoeneß has cautioned supporters not to expect marquee deals, citing transfers such as Luis Díaz, who moved from Liverpool for €70 million last summer. He said the guiding principle is to avoid debt and that there would be no compromise on this.
Hoeneß added that Bayern reacted when savings began to shrink, prioritising a balanced transfer ledger and trimming the squad. He said the club declined certain signings to avoid taking loans, concluding that financial prudence had to take precedence.
