De Ligt has made it clear to Bayern Munich that he only wants to join Manchester United despite interest from other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern Munich have been keen on getting somewhere around €50m to €60m, but Manchester United are in talks with them to try and negotiate down the price.

However, according to German daily Bild (via FCB Inside), the Bavarians do not want to appear to be selling the Dutchman for a bargain fee.

There is already discontent amongst the Bayern Munich fanbase about the club’s decision to try and cash in on De Ligt.

Bayern Munich do not want to be seen as agreeing to let the player go for anything less than their price range.

Negotiations are expected to pick up pace once De Ligt returns from the European Championship in the coming days.
