Joshua Zirkzee enjoys holiday with former Bayern Munich team-mate | OneFootball

Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has shared holiday pictures with Manchester United’s new signing Joshua Zirkzee.

After a lengthy campaign at club and international level, Zirkzee joined United from Bolonga and was given an extended break away to reset ahead of the new season.

That explains why Zirkzee is on holiday currently rather than with his new team-mates in the United States for the pre-season tour.

Germany international Jamal Musiala knows Zirkzee after the time they spent together at Bayern, so they’ve linked up over the summer to enjoy their time off away from football.

In a post on Instagram, Musiala shared multiple photos with Zirkzee, captioned: “Back to back”

In a previous collection of photos shared by Musiala, the Bayern winger is pictured alongside other footballers such as Tino Livramento, CJ Egan-Riley and Mika Biereth.

Debut season getting closer for Zirkzee

First impressions are important and we all want to see Zirkzee hit the ground running at United.

It’s just a shame he is missing the pre-season tour, though I’m not one to suggest burning out our players before the season begins.

So long as he’s available and we don’t have a repeat of Mason Mount’s debut season, I’m confident the Dutch forward can contribute positively to the team next season.

I’m not expecting a 20+ goal season, but this is a player who will help the team as a unit to produce more goals and that was a problem for us last season. We didn’t score enough goals and conceded too many.
