Bayern Munich have tied 17-year-old defender Cassiano Kiala to a new long-term contract.

The club did not disclose the length of the deal. Bild reports that it runs until 2030.

A Germany U19 international, Kiala made his senior debut in a Bundesliga match against Heidenheim in December 2025, which remains his only first-team appearance.

He missed the final months of the 2025/26 campaign with a syndesmotic ligament tear.

Bayern have high hopes for Kiala and plan to integrate him into the first team gradually. He is the second-youngest player to debut for the Bayern first team, previously captained Germany Under-17s, and his progress last season was hampered by injury.
