Bayern Munich have been shortlisted for both the Ballon d’Or Men’s and Women’s Club of the Year awards after nominees were confirmed on Tuesday.

According to BuLi News, the German double winners feature on the men’s list alongside 2025/26 Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and finalists Arsenal.

Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt are also included after their breakout Champions League campaign, as are Brazilian club Flamengo, who won the CONMEBOL Libertadores.

The Ballon d’Or website framed Bayern’s nomination as proof of a return to the elite, highlighting a ruthless, goal-hungry team that delivered at decisive moments and a refreshed attack that overpowered defences domestically and in Europe.

In the women’s category, Bayern are up against Barcelona, Club América, Manchester City and OL Lyonnes.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on Monday, 26 October.
