Today, Tuesday, FC Bayern will face its final tough test before the start of the 2026/27 competitive season. The record champions will take on 1. FC Heidenheim in a preseason friendly.

The reason for this friendly is that, due to the World Cup this past summer, some players didn’t join the team until much later and were only able to participate in parts of the preseason. As a result, the Bayern squad hasn’t quite found its rhythm yet. The Heidenheim game is now intended to serve precisely that purpose.
