Bayern's Zaragoza could join Espanyol permanently if two conditions are fulfilled during his loan spell.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Espanyol must avoid relegation and Zaragoza must play at least 45 minutes in 20 league matches.

For the move to happen, Espanyol would need to exercise a reported €8 million purchase option agreed when the deal was finalised.

The Catalan club have already settled on a five-year contract with Zaragoza, contingent on the transfer becoming permanent.

So far, the winger has 25 minutes across two appearances.

It is not clear from the report whether the option becomes mandatory once those conditions are met, or remains optional under those terms.
