The in-form Manchester City winger added to the Red Devils’ advantage before the break, picking out the bottom corner after a brilliant individual run.

Rudi Garcia’s side started the second half at their frenetic best, scoring four goals in seven minutes.

Brandon Mechele made it 4-0 with an excellent finish. Alexis Saelemaekers then got in on the act with a tap-in before Charles De Ketelaere added a sixth.

The match ended with Liechtenstein recording just one shot on target, underlining Belgium’s dominance.
