Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli were also involved in training today after recently returning from international duty.

However, Ben White was absent from Arsenal training, while Martin Zubimendi only watched on from the sidelines with Andrea Berta, according to Sky Sports journalist Sam Blitz.

White featured against Olympiacos before the international break and was named on the bench against West Ham United.

However, the 28-year-old was unavailable to train this morning and Arteta will provide an update on his fitness tomorrow.

Zubimendi played the last two games for the Gunners before the break and also played for Spain against Georgia and Bulgaria during their World Cup qualifiers.

He did not pick up any knock while on international duty and the reason for his not participating in training today is unknown.

Arsenal are currently without Martin Odegaard, with their captain expected to be out of action until after the November international break.

The Gunners are currently without Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, and it appears White and Zubimendi could have joined them.

Arteta will be sweating over the fitness of the duo and fans will be hoping they have not picked up any serious injuries.

Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table and will be eager to continue building momentum before the next international break in October.

They host Atletico Madrid in the Champions League next Tuesday before hosting Crystal Palace next Sunday, and they need to win their next three games and maintain their impressive form.
