Benfica have confirmed the departure of women’s futsal goalkeeper Maria Inês. The club said in a statement that the 22-year-old ends a long association after rising through the academy.
She completed most of her development with the club, spending 2023/24 on loan at Leões de Porto Salvo before returning to the first team.

Inês departs with nine trophies, including four National Championships, three Portuguese Cups, one Super Cup and one League Cup.
The club expressed gratitude for her commitment and attitude, and wished her well for the future.
She made dozens of appearances for the senior side and featured for Portugal at youth level. She now begins a new stage of her career.
