Benfica learn €30m price to sign Rodrigo Zalazar from Braga | OneFootball

Benfica now have clarity on the outlay required to land Rodrigo Zalazar, with Braga setting a high bar for suitors.

According to Glorioso 1904, Braga will not negotiate below €30m, and Benfica regard the Uruguayan international as a priority target.

The stance is not new. In January, offers close to that figure arrived, yet the board led by António Salvador kept the midfielder, prioritising on‑field performance in a decisive stretch and trusting his value would hold.

Earlier, in January 2025, Zalazar was close to joining Zenit for about €20m before remaining at Braga. Since then, strong European showings have raised his profile and intensified interest from several markets, complicating any negotiation.

This season for Braga, Zalazar, valued at €22m, has played 45 matches, 27 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 14 in the Europa League, two in the Taça de Portugal and two in the Taça da Liga. Across 3,221 minutes he has scored 23 goals and provided eight assists.
