Benfica open Red Pass refunds after 2-2 draw with Académico de Viseu | OneFootball

Benfica will allow Red Pass members to claim a refund for Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Académico de Viseu at Estádio da Luz, the Liga Portugal opener played behind closed doors.

According to Glorioso 1904, the club said on Tuesday that requests can be made via its official app, with the window opening at 10am on Wednesday and closing on 14 August.

The amount will be credited to each member’s virtual wallet and equates to 4.7% of the Red Pass price or 3.6% of Red Pass Total. The calculation uses the average number of games from the past two seasons and the forecast for 2026/27.

After a request is lodged, the credit will be applied on 10 September, after the deadline for the final Red Pass instalment. Despite empty stands, supporters gathered outside the ground during the match.

Benfica return to action on Thursday 13 August against Hearts, the second leg of the third Europa League qualifying round. Kick-off is at 19:45 at Tynecastle Park, and Hearts are coached by Wouter Vrancken.
