Benfica’s SAD, led by Rui Costa, are open to offers for Dodi Lukebakio before the transfer window closes. The Belgium international could depart this summer.

According to Record, the 28-year-old has not convinced Marco Silva, opening the door to a move. The coach has preferred Rafa Silva on the right wing.

French media reported on Tuesday that Besiktas were interested, but that was later denied. The Istanbul club have since announced the signing of Ernest Poku from Bayer Leverkusen, another winger.

A switch to Besiktas now appears unlikely, yet Lukebakio may still leave. After one season at Benfica, in which he made 23 appearances and scored one goal, a departure is the most realistic scenario.

Following his World Cup involvement, he joined pre-season late and has featured in four matches. He started away to Hearts in a 1-1 draw, scoring Benfica’s only goal.
